As a restaurant owner, the day you turn that sign around and open your doors is the culmination of years of hard work, careful planning and lots of dreaming. On that day, the possibilities are endless.
As your concept takes root and customers keep coming back for more, managing your success becomes as challenging as planning for that initial launch – usually at a much faster pace with even higher stakes. New locations mean more customers to serve, more inventory to manage, more revenue to account for and more staff to train. This often leads to more platforms to integrate, more systems to manage, and, more often than not, instances of inefficiency and frustration.
At Global Payments, we help you think beyond opening day and provide you with a seamless front-, middle- and back-of-house restaurant technology environment to support your long-term growth plans. From food trucks to quick-service restaurants (QSRs), casual and fine-dining, across a region, or the entire country, our mission is to create software solutions that solve your challenges and unlock your greatest potential.
As a leader who is continuously growing – we’ve just announced our 9th quarter of consecutive growth, we share your growth outlook and are uniquely positioned to help you scale and thrive. We bring our integrated technology solutions to restaurateurs big and small in 62 countries across the Americas, Europe and Asia.
You eat, sleep and breathe your businesses – and so do we.
As I told investors and analysts on our Q1 earnings call, the restaurant industry is a true sweet spot for us – global, complex and highly diversified in terms of scale.
We develop and deliver solutions with our customers in mind, and stay close to our customers to ensure we are meeting their needs. Our customers tell us that how we service their business is among the greatest factors of Global Payments’ success. They appreciate our ‘always available’ mentality to solve problems that may arise at any time of day or night.
You eat, sleep and breathe your businesses – and so do we. In addition to solving problems and providing top-notch servicing, we are doing everything we can to help you stay ahead of the curve on new and next-generation innovations. For example, artificial intelligence (AI) offers incredible potential in restaurants, particularly quick service. Through AI-integrated technologies, restaurant owners will be able to enhance the drive-thru experience, which is typically around two-thirds of sales at QSRs. Specifically, we are constructing the drive-thru of the future, using technologies such as exterior digital menu boards, voice recognition and mobile interfaces.
Finally, our open architecture allows for full integration of value-adding services such as app-based food delivery and unattended kiosk ordering with accounting platforms, employee payroll and scheduling, inventory management software and even analytics and email marketing.
The effectiveness of our 24/7, end-to-end, software-focused approach to helping restaurateurs manage their business is reflected by the company we keep. As of this quarter, our customers include 21 of QSR Magazine's top 40 ranked brands including Burger King, Taco Bell, Tim Hortons and Wendy’s.
We are on the cusp of the next generation for restaurants – a future where technology truly streamlines and customizes the guest experience. The future of this industry is truly “open,” and we’re excited to help you capitalize on every opportunity to keep you on the leading edge.
