Major Account Manager
I joined Global Payments back in 2010, where I started on the Customer Helpdesk Team, I spent around 5 years in this role where I developed strong card processing and industry knowledge. After moving to the Telesales Team for 2 years, there was the opportunity to join the Client Relationship Team, which was a step up but also a step into another customer service driven department which was perfect for me and my progression. After a year on the team I was given the opportunity to apply for the role as a Major Account Manager, to which I was successful and I’m currently relishing the role and the challenges it brings.

Inside Sales & Operations Team Manager
I joined Global Payments in 2012, I originally joined as a Temp, but within 6 months was offered a permanent role within the Sales Team. Over my time with the company I have been given numerous opportunities to grow and develop as an individual and have built a career after initially looking for a job. The company has facilitated my progress which shows in my job history, Telesales Rep, Telesales Team Leader, Telesales Team Manager to my current position as Inside Sales & Operations Manager. Global Payments recognises their staff and work with them to develop by continuously offering opportunities to progress.
I joined the company in 2005 and started off completing admin tasks within the Operational teams, this led to becoming team leader for two different teams. Through the different opportunities that have been available to me, I have gained further experience and skills through working in various departments and with individuals at different levels. I have now been part of the Compliance team for 2 years where I manage the monitoring programme and assist the business with meeting regulatory requirements. The support I have personally received from the different individuals and management has been tremendous and allowed me to get to where I am today.
My journey at Global Payments began in July 2018 soon after finishing my degree in Accounting and Finance. I started off on a temporary contract and within two months I was offered a permanent position. I have been a part of the team for just over a year now and recently I was given the opportunity to venture on my first business trip to Malta, which was an incredibly insightful experience. I am also currently working towards becoming a Chartered Accountant upon completion of my ACCA qualification. Global Payments has provided me with an exceptional study package and my team are very supportive in allowing me to progress through this qualification.
Senior Risk Manager
I joined the company in 2005 as a Telesales Agent in Leicester. I progressed to a Team Leader and led one of the telesales teams responsible for acquiring services. Soon after, I secured a promotion within the Operations Department, where I managed a number of large teams and developed my managerial skills further. After 4 years in this position, I felt I needed to gain a better understanding of the business so took a sideways move into project management and then another into Risk Management as a Fraud Investigator. I now head up the UK Risk Department and have been lucky enough to travel all over the world with my job. Throughout my career, I have been fully supported by the company and pushed to achieve my goals. There is a real community feel to the company and I have made some lifelong friends during my time here.
Senior Product Manager - Terminal Estate
I joined Global Payments in May 2006, originally as a Telesales Agent progressing into the Inbound Support Team and was lucky enough to become Team Leader within the department. I was then given opportunities to move sideways across the business into the Inside Sales Team and the Corporate Client Services Team. Most recently, I was promoted into the Product Team as a Senior Product Manager. The role I currently complete is very diverse and allows me travel across the UK, working and meeting some great people along the way. The company continually supports staff and offers plenty of opportunities to grow both professionally and personally.
