Purchasing
Purchasing card transactions are originated by providing
the merchant with the purchasing card number over the phone
or in person. The transaction is transmitted to Global Payments
where it is sent to the card association for approval. Once
a day, all approved purchasing card transactions are totaled
in preparation for paying the supplier and billing the purchaser.
The system also provides transaction reports with the necessary
data to give the supplier a clear picture of his daily activity.
In addition to standard reports, Global Payments provides
EDI and ACH-based reconciliation files that allow our clients
and their cash management banks to automate the reconciliation
and cash application process.
