Global Payments Celebrates Milestone Anniversary by Ringing
the Opening BellSM at the New York Stock Exchange
Global Payments’ employees, representing a cross-section
of the company, rang the Opening Bell at the New York Stock
Exchange on Thursday, March 23, 2006, to commemorate Global’s
fifth anniversary. On February 1, 200l, Global Payments’
executives also rang the Opening Bell, signaling the formation
of the company and first day of trading under the ticker symbol
GPN.
Chairman, President and CEO, Paul R. Garcia, lead the ceremony
along with a delegation of Global Payments’ employees,
who were chosen by lottery to represent the company’s
divisions and major locations. Global employees include Mark
Kabaci and Fio Griffith, representing Global Payments’
headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia; Rafael Cruet, representing
Global’s Check Services Division in Chicago, Illinois;
Robert Jarrett, Gregory Barnes, Nasser Bakshi and Bo Blanton,
representing major operations centers in Baltimore, Maryland
and St. Louis, Missouri; and Marlene VanZyl and Wilson Hon
representing Global Payments Canada. Gabriel Monreal and Arturo
Sanchez represented DolEx Dollar Express, Global Payments’
money transfer division.
MasterCard Recognizes Global Payments
for Data Integrity and Payment Card Processing Excellence
Global Payments was recognized recently by MasterCard International
with an impressive award for Data Integrity and Excellence
in Processing Accuracy. The award honored our North American
operations, including Canada and the United States. MasterCard
International is a leading global payments solutions company.
MasterCard’s Data Integrity Performance Award Program
was developed to recognize the outstanding performance of
processing companies who consistently demonstrate processing
excellence by providing accurate authorization messages. MasterCard’s
objectives for the program are to increase sales and profitability
through accurate data in the authorization messages –
data messages that are used to make decisions for approval
or decline of cardholder transactions.
In response to the announcement of the award, Michael L.
Reidenbach, Chief Information Officer, commented, “As

Global Payments Reaches “The
Global 50” Echelon

Global Payments Inc. was included in a recent listing of
“The Global 50” published by InformationWeek magazine.
According to the magazine, “The Global 50” is
composed of the fastest-growing large companies operating
in multiple countries including the United States and outside
North America.
The magazine ranked businesses with U.S. headquarters, operating
in multiple countries, and have the greatest year-over-year
growth as a percentage of revenue. The list was compiled using
information provided by Reuters, public data such as Securities
and Exchange Commissions filings, Hoovers Online and InformationWeek
sister publication Optimize. Global Payments was ranked 46

Introducing the Newest Member of the Global Payments Money
Transfer Family - Europhil
Founded
in 1989, and based in Madrid, Spain, Europhil operates 26
retail branches in Spain, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
Europhil’s vast settlement network includes approximately
1,000 locations in over 20 countries. More than 80 per cent
of its money transfers are sent to Latin American countries,
including Ecuador, Colombia, Bolivia and Brazil. Most of its
remaining money transfers are sent to African and Asian countries,
including Morocco, the Philippines and India.
Europhil has more than 200 employees, including an experienced
management team that will remain with Global Payments and
will be managed through Global Payments’ DolEx channel.
