How It Works
GPE’s system is fast and secure for all parties involved
in an on-line transaction. A card holder is shopping in an
on-line shop and requests payment by his bank card. Upon receiving
a request from the shop, a payment gateway authenticates the
bank card holder using the 3-D Secure standard. The card holder
authenticates himself in the MUZO Secure system and the result
is sent back to the payment gate. An authorisation request
is sent by the payment gateway to its acquiring bank and then
forwarded over interbank networks to the card issuer. If the
card issuer successfully authorises the transaction, the result
is handed over the same way to the on-line shop, which notifies
the card holder of the result of the transaction.
FAQ
How is it possible to activate
a user account during transaction?
The card holder is redirected to the MUZO Secure system during
the transaction where he is authenticated using information
provided by the card issuer. If the authentication is successful,
the user is able to enter his password for future on-line
payments.
