How It Works
SW Customization
According to the bank requirements GPE customizes ATM operational
system for BASE 24 authorization via chosen communication
channel to provide standard package of ATM services. At the
same time also the ATM screen design is being customized to
include the static advertising and incentive programs. Complete
SW version is at the testing facility approved by client and
then installed into the ATMs. Configuration files for standard
service packages may be installed via remote download.
SW maintenance
GPE is upgrading SW according to its newest versions released
by ATM provider via remote downloads. SW is also adjusted
for the exchange of communication channel, typically from
X-25 to TCP/IP.
SW Development
GPE is developing software for more sophisticated added-value
ATM functionalities, e.g.:
- Mobile operators top-up application
- Mobile operators billing
- Account-to-account transfer orders
- Card expiration warning
Available development options will vary according to ATM
manufacturer and model. Prior to actual development, a feasibility
study is executed where customer’s requirements are
matched to equipment capabilities.
