parent company pioneered electronic payment processing in 1967. Global Payments
Inc. (NYSE:GPN) spun off from National Data Corporation on January 31, 2001
and began trading on the New York Stock Exchange is an independent company on

Global Payments’ services include a comprehensive line of 24 x 7 payment
card and check processing; point of sale; merchant accounting and support; acquiring
bank support; electronic check conversion, check verification; guarantee and
recovery services; POS equipment; EDI and network services. Products also include
the company's Internet programs and services that encompass Internet payment
processing, virtual storefront packages, information reporting and tax payment
and purchasing card solutions. In addition, Global offers support for conversion,
equipment deployment, inventory management and implementation.
Money Transfer Services
Global’s DolEx Dollar Express serves more than a million consumers throughout
the U.S. to Latin American corridor, allowing customers to safely and quickly
send money to beneficiaries in Latin America. Hundreds of DolEx branches are
conveniently located across the United States in areas with large Latino populations
and DolEx has settlement arrangements with thousands of bank, exchange house,
and retail locations throughout Latin America.
In December 2004, Global Payments expanded its position in the fast-growing
money transfer industry by acquiring a well-established group of European electronic
money transfer firms, collectively operating under the name “Europhil.”
Founded in 1989, Europhil was one of the first money transfer firms established
in Spain. With its home base in Madrid, Europhil now operates 26 retail branches
in Spain, Belgium and the United Kingdom.
